Apart from the techiqnical, strategic and commercial advantages of the bridge, what one is taken aback is the way politicains rake up issues for their vested interests showing the shamful levels to which their morals and souls have dipped to. No moral terpitude so to say. Like dieties of other religions, ‘Ram’ is a name which needs no discussions or debates. A belief that is ageless and a name that moves a thousand souls can became a matter of gaffe by some petty mortals shows how opportunistc this creeed of people are. I am sure the fanaticism is missing somewhere. Every religion has its sects and sub sects but Hinduism in its entirety has a unique example of tolerance. Only if as a religious entity we could not make other followers feel let down by our own people. The audicity of calling Ram by names is highly offensive to the pschye of the beleivers and does not augur well. But we as usual the tolerant lot can take anything and everything in our stride.
